The academic year 2023-24 at Vidhyanjali Academy, Kota, was marked by a rich array of events and academic achievements, fostering a vibrant and engaging school community. This report summarizes the significant events and milestones from April 2023 to February 2024.
April 2023
The year began with a lively English Week in April, encouraging creativity and communication skills. The event culminated in a successful Parent-Teacher Meeting on 29th April, laying a strong foundation for the upcoming session.
July 2023
The first set of periodic tests (PT-I) started on 17th July, providing an early assessment of students' progress. This focused approach allowed us to identify areas for improvement and build a stronger academic structure.
August 2023
August was a month of celebrations and leadership development. Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor, while the Rakhi festival highlighted the cultural richness of our school. The Investiture Ceremony in August was a key event, where student leaders were nominated and voted upon. This was followed by Hindi Week, which included the Interhouse Quiz competition on the Bhagwat Geeta for classes VI to IX on 4th September, Doha Path competition for classes I to III on 8th September, Krishna Janmashtami on 6th September, and Teacher's Day on 5th September.
September-October 2023
In September, we celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 18th, followed by a PTM on 30th September. The Half-Yearly exams were held from 10th to 20th October, assessing students' knowledge across subjects. After the exams, the school hosted a vibrant Dandiya celebration on 21st October, fostering community spirit. The month concluded with a PTM on 28th October.
November 2023
November was marked by the Diwali celebration on the 18th, followed by Educational Week from 21st to 30th. During Educational Week, we held a fancy dress competition for classes I-V, a PPT on Science for classes VII-X, and an Education Exhibition on 30th November. This provided students with varied opportunities to explore and showcase their talents.
December 2023 - February 2024
The second set of periodic tests (PT-II) took place in December, alongside Elocution on Vijay Diwas, a Maths Quiz for classes I-V, and a redesigning of the cover page for classes VI-X. The year concluded with a winter break starting on 26th December. The new year began with Republic Day on 26th January and Sports Week from 5th to 9th February. Finally, the Annual Exams commenced on 26th February, while a PTM was held on 16th February to discuss the year's progress and future goals.
Conclusion
The 2023-24 session was an exciting and eventful year, filled with cultural events, academic assessments, and student leadership opportunities. We look forward to continued growth and success in the upcoming academic year at Vidhyanjali Academy, Kota.
With delight I present this Annual Report of Vidhyanjali Academy to apprise you all which enumerates the labour of love, activities and achievements of the school during the academic year 19- 20.
As we share the yearly updates of our activities, we take the modesty to say that we did our best to do as we had planned and we are proud of our students and teachers who strive hard to achieve beyond expectations. We have focused on the holistic development of the student.
Achievements of 2019-20
Academic: In academics, the school produced an excellent result in Class XII with Daksh Khandelwal (97.4%), Prakhar Pandey (97.4%), Shreyas Jena (97.4%), Somanwita Panigrahi (97.2%), Mihir Gandhi (95.8%), Avdhesh dash (95.4%), Archit Pattanaik (95.4%), Milind Kumar Prasad (95.2%). Class X with Anvit Gupta (95.8%), Nandini Jain (93.2%), Anushka Singhal (91.4%), Yashveer Singh Chouhan (90.8%).
There have been many changes at the school this year in terms of high expectations, behavioral management, professional development, technology and above all, academics.
There one can think of every activity inclusive of fun, innovative learning activity geared teaching promoting cultural activities through art and craft painting stage performance for esthetic development, comprehensive sports infrastructure regular health checkup, infirmary to comfort the child, personal care and individual value based education, aptitude enhancement and many more of the students on rolls that endeavours to spread the wings far and wide in years to come.
The focus is on all round personality development to enable the students to face any global challenge. Reputed employers and academic experts are involved in development of competency based curricular aimed at problem solving capabilities.Emphasis on employable technical and soft skill including communication, team building, leadership, positive attitude and above all a superior belief in self. School has many co-curricular activities,clubs and societies to acquire both fundamental and specialized skills. They all are adept at preparing students fortomorrow's needs- being themselves fully aware ofthe present and future environmental needs.
Co- Curriculum
Students participated in SOF Olympiad named IGKO, NSO, IEO, IMO and NSTSE. Our latest Achievement is in international General Knowledge Olympiad where Nandini Mehra, Class X won Gold Medal + 5000 cash prize(IGKO) and many more students got participation certificates and medals. Class X student Umang Maan selected for NTSE Scholarship exam and Krish Sharma selected for NTSE II level exam.
Sports & Game
Class VIII Poonam Ohja Securing Second Position in Inter School Yoga Competition Organized by Kota Sahodaya. Under 14 Kabddi Team Securing Third Position in District Level Games Tournament.
Infrastructural Changes and Development
Infrastructure of the School is fully equipped with massive & aesthetic building structure, well-ventilated & spacious classrooms, digitally equipped learning methods, green meadows, play pen, activity rooms, basketball court, Football & Cricket practice area.
Labs and libraries, display boards to help visual learning and many more that your children experience with lot of enthusiasm and curiosity.
Safety of the students being the utmost priority, 56 CC Cameras are installed all around the School, to keep the whole campus under safe surveillance. Extension of 10 classrooms was constructed during the session 19-20, We extended our library with 5000 books.
Extension of Affiliation
This year, our school's affiliation has increased to 2025, Thanks to us CBSE who helped the school in this difficult time.
Staff Enrichment Program
Staying updated is the key to success in any field especially in the field of education. Our teachers constantly strive to stay updated by attending workshops and various training programs throughout the year conducted by the expertise in their field.
Students Enrichment Program
At Vidhyanjali Academy all examinations are conducted in a board format where the question papers are designed by multiple teachers so that every time a child writes the exam, he is facing a new challenge on his own without any help from his teachers.

- We have Incorporated 6 DIGITAL Visual rooms for demonstration of the smart classes. The school has tied up with EXTRA MARKS Company for interactive teaching from KG to 12th. The SMART CLASS provides great support through audio visual approach in addition to the normal chalk and talk method.
- Our students were given the opportunity to participate in All India Talent Examination in mathematics , science, English organized by Olympiad foundation of different streams.. Many students have reached the state and national level in these examinations.
- Special Communiqué program has been organized from primary classes to enhance their communication skills.
- To promote the competitive spirit and to bring out the talent of the students, they are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular activities. Such as Kota Sahodaya School Complex had organized Inter School Spelling Bee Competition in our auditorium. Other activities like Drawing and painting, Essay writing, Singing, Recitation, Elocution, Dance, Fancy Dress, Mono action and mimicry, Dramatics, Diya making, etc were conducted during the course of the year.
Co- Curricular Activities
A host of co-curricular activities have been organized during the year. This year the school had its sports day and many other activities like inter house extempore debate, quiz, elocution, essay writing, Slogan writing, collage making, display board decoration, rangoli, master chef, science exhibition and more for the betterment of the students. It was an honor for us to hold the Kota Junior Cyclothon event in our school in which around 200 plus participants took part in it. The event was a big success and we made a history.
In kindergarten section various activities like colour day, fruit & vegetable day, flower day, poetry recitation, storytelling, Picture & collage making were organized to enhance the teaching and learning process in the Tiny Tots. Grand Parents were invited on Grand Parents day to make the strong bonding between them. Rain dance, Dandiya Party and Fancy dress competition were organized.
Picnic and Excursions
"ALL Work and NO Play makes Jack a Dull Boy" .The school had organized one day picnic programs for the students. The students of Pre-primary classes were taken to Khade Ganesh Udhyan, while the students from classes 12th were taken to Science Centre & Kota city round. This was one day when the entire teacher and the students together collectively had all the fun.
Science Exhibition
The science exhibition was held in the month of January. The students came forward with new creative ideas and models on topics given separately for every class. Many new concepts regarding the designing of future city, new energy concepts etc. were showcased by the students. Parents were invited to visit the exhibition; they all appreciated the efforts of the students.
Investiture Ceremony
Our school bearers were officially sworn in a very impressive investiture ceremony on July 14th 2019 . The school cabinet was lead by our Head Boy Yashveer Singh and Head Girl Yamini Dadhich . The ceremony began with the guard of honor for the chief guest. The office bearers were briefed about their responsibilities.
Medical Check-Up
An Eye & Dental checkup camp was conducted by Doctors from the Medical Collage Kota , for the students of class 1st to 10th. 3 day Dental camp was also conducted by a team of renowned doctors from the Dental care hospital. In addition to this – Regular height, weight and chest measurements have been recorded for all the students in the beginning of the year.
Seminars
The school believes in getting many organizations for in house training purposes. Many of our teachers were sent for In-service training programs and capacity building Programs that were conducted by CBSE, to enhance their teaching skills. Authors of all major publishers of books have come to the school to train our teachers. A Seminar was also conducted by Ms. Rohini in which the children expressed about their experiences and how the program has helped them counter many deficiencies and temptations. In addition to this many other seminars on health care have been conducted in the school in the areas of career guidance and child safety, food and nutrition and conservation of nature.
Sports and Games
The school has always been taking initiatives to get the best talent in the sports arena. We have consolidated the sports activities on the weekends where the school has tied up with professional coaches for Basket Ball, Cricket, Football and Table Tennis to coach our children.
Scouts and Guides
Many students participating in the activities of Scouts and Guides.
Festivals
Independence Day, Republic Day, and Children's Day, Diwali, Christmas and all other festivals were celebrated with great enthusiasm. On Children's Day the Teachers performed various items for the students like dance, songs and other items. Director Mrs. Ashima Goyal distributed sweets to all the students.
Charity
To give back to the society for various noble causes, our students donate various organizations and needy individuals on Charity Day.
Parents Teacher Meeting
Parents and Teachers Meeting are held on the result day of every examination to discuss about the improvementsmade by the children. Parents were called periodically for a meeting with the class teachers to interact, update and share the concerns of the teachers.
Counseling Session
Counseling facility is provided to ll the students by our school counselor.
Unique Event Cyclothon
Vidhyanjali Academy had organized a Kota Junior Cyclothon Season -2 event for the kids of the age group between 7 yrs to 17yrs , It was the initiative taken by Director Ashima Goyal. The event was organized on 15th December 2019 in the school premises . It was a Tricycle & a Bicycle ride in which around 523 children participated. The event started at 6.30 am in the morning, all the kids were very excited and drove cycles joyfully.. The event was to introduce children to the joy of cycling, encourage their independence and increase confidence.. It is an ideal way to get children to exercise. In the hustle and bustle of modern life, one has lost the connection with nature, so cycling helps to fill in that vacuum. It was not a race , as every rider was a winner. Our Chief guest for the event was our Mr. Rajan Dushyant (SP. Rural Area), Mrs. Amrita Dohan (Additional SP.). Distribution of Medals, Certificate, Prizes were given by Mr. Deepak Bhargava (SP. City) & Ex MLA Mrs. Poonam Goyal, and Mr. Pankaj Mehta (Congress Secretary, Mr. Yashwant Singh. who gave the winner a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- and many other Prizes were given by lucky draw. Consolation prizes were also given.
Online Study During COVID-19
On 18 March, The Examination of the Children was stopped due to the sudden lockdown due to COVID -19. CBSE issued the circular and ordered all students of all schools to be upgraded to the next class according to their year all performance in the examination. The Nationwide Lockdown following in the March COVID-19. Pandemic has led to a burst of activity with Online Education. The COVID -19 has resulted in school shut all across the world globally. Class room as a result education has changed dramatically with the distinctive rise of a E- learning.
All the good work of the school has been possible with the cooperation of our highly qualified and dedicated faculty.
